Center of the British Slave Trade

For about two centuries the British shipped most of 10 million slaves to the new world through the dungeons of this castle in Cape Coast. In the dungeon I tried very hard to keep between the rest of the Ghanaian tour group and the door. I don't think they noticed...... In the seventeenth century there was no quibbling about whether prospective immigrants had suitable identity papers.. .they were fast-tracked (usually less than 6 weeks wait). I would normally pass this information on to our immigration minister Chris Alexander, but I am worried what other ideas they might get...
