Behind these doors.... a spartan room, cold running water, one desk, chair, kettle, (not suitable for baths but the bucket is too small anyway) a jacket of little use when it is 28 degrees, and a constant wind that keeps away all but the most energetic malaria mosquito. On a good day the lights work. Chickens at the door, but our supply of food is adequate... none have been chicknapped so far.

It's best to become a monk at an age when you don't have to take the vows...your physiology takes most of them for you.
